Da Shibi Shan is a popular hiking and scenic spot on Taiwan's stunning east coast, known for its well-maintained trails and breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Da Shibi Shan offers a incredibly rewarding and relatively easy hike, making it a must-visit destination on any itinerary along Taiwan's scenic east coast. A beautiful coastal trail. Stunning ocean views. Geological landscape. With multiple viewing platforms and rest spots along the route, it's a perfect place for landscape photography and taking memorable pictures.

The view was very beautiful on top of the trail. It is mainly stairs with resting areas on top. There was a sign to watch out for monkeys but I didn’t see any 🙈

Lovely view but it’s an interesting trail, it ends at a different spot than it starts so important to have a look at the map before. The trail is only stairs.

This is definitely one of our favorite spots during our trip around Hualien. Along the hiking trail the view over the ocean and the mountain (yes, you see both of them!) is really amazing! And in my opinion the scenery is much better than many other places which have been commercialized. There are many stair steps before reaching the top of the hill so it could be a bit challenging for little kids. Once you reach the top, it is a great reward by just sitting there, breathing fresh air, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It may not be a famous place for tourists but definitely worth a visit. Note that the parking space is quite limited, so better to come when it is less crowded. 記住，這是大石鼻步道喔，不要唸成大鼻石... 😂
